United Garage Door is seeking an experienced outside sales representative for Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and West Virginia region.
The outside sales representative is responsible for dealer development, new customer growth, market analysis, strategic planning/implementation, and other duties as assigned within their territory. Our customers value teamwork, integrity, and initiative.
Essential Functions
· Works closely with all United Garage Door locations to leverage the company's total capabilities.
· Develops and executes comprehensive territory plan.
· Provides forecasting and participates in demand planning.
· Collaborates with dealers and representatives of associated industries to evaluate and promote improved and expanded sales in the area.
· Coordinates sales with operations and customer service.
· Generate and submit sales reports to management
· Provides analysis and planning to maintain and develop a competitive position.
· Maintains and practices company safety policies and procedures.
· Other reasonably related duties as assigned.
Requirements
· 5+ Years of relevant sales and management experience required, preferably in the garage door or building products field.
· Strong analytical and computer skills
· Ability to travel 70-80% of the time in the territory (Southern Ohio, Northern Kentucky, Eastern Indiana, Northern West Virginia)
· Valid driver’s license
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office and warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. This role also requires the use of a company truck or van. Successful completion of a motor vehicle record (MVR) check is required.

Position Type/ Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position and regularly requires long hours and some weekend work.
Required Education and Experience
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales and/ or management is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
